No, not to the meal you’ve just consumed this past Thursday! That doesn’t even make sense.
I’m going to Turkey! Istanbul to be exact.
I booked my flight last night on Turkish Airlines leaving from Washington Dulles in February for a grand total of (drumroll please) $523.90 round trip, including tax. I KNOW! This feels almost as good as that time I went to Costa Rica from IAD round trip for $288. I’ve definitely made some airline missteps in the past, but I feel very proud of myself for this particular find.
Anyway, this will be my first time to Istanbul and I’ve heard nothing but good things. If you have any tips or great blogs, please send them my way in the comments. A Sense of Place is already a favorite, and NatGeo Digital Nomad Andrew Evans personally recommended Carpet Blogger. But I’m eager for more reads! I have two months to prepare for this dynamic city.
And hey, for a price like that, you should come too!
How long will you be there? That’s a critical itinerary-affecting detail. 😉
PS: Do you like Turkish delight and baklava? I know an open late place with views of the Bosphorus.
Great! You are a dedicated traveller. I want to go to Hawaii and stay in a resort where everything is at my fingertips.
YAY!!! Stevo lived there for a few years when he was younger. I’ll ask him for some tips and send them your way! So excited for you!!
