#FriFotos: Exotic

The first image that pops into my head when anyone says “exotic” is that of a tiger.
I don’t have any photographs of tigers.
So I looked up the definition of “exotic.” And did you know that “exotic” simply means “from a foreign or far-away place?”
Somehow, I can’t think of the Eiffel Tower or the Colosseum as exotic even though they fall under that definition. Exotic is bright colors, jewel tones, jungles. India.

I found these two lovebirds at the Qutb Minar ruins near Delhi. Not quite tigers, but exotic nonetheless?

#FriFotos is a Twitter event founded by @EpsteinTravels. Search the hashtag every Friday to see photography from around the world illustrating the theme of the week.
